WEC: Monza to welcome limited number of fans

Sport news Built in 1922, the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, known as the temple of speed, staged the FIA WEC Prologue in 2017, but this year marks the first time that the venue hosts a round of the world’s premier endurance racing series. A total of 38 cars will battle it out in across four classes in the event held from held from July 16 – 18. The event will be the first at Monza this year to be opened to a limited number of spectators. The circuit will welcome spectators on Sunday 18 July, appropriately spaced and on the right grandstand on the main straight. The seats will be assigned at the time of the ticket purchase. Together with the tickets, parking spaces within the circuit will also be provided. The tickets will be available only online and, until Wednesday 30 June, will be on sale at a discounted price at monzanet.it and ticketone.it . Currently the entry is at €60 euros, with free admission for children up to six years of age and at €1 euro for those between the ages of seven and 11. The price for those aged between 12 and 17 as well as for people the over 75 is at €30. It will be necessary to complete a check-in procedure that will allow tracking of the spectators. In case of a government-enforced cancellation or another event held behind closed doors, all purchased tickets will be refunded.
