Horner: F1 cost cap inflation boost “not enough”

At Friday morning’s meeting of the F1 Commission it was decided to add a 3.1% inflation allowance to the original cost cap figure. Teams had been working to the basic total of $140m, plus $1.2m for the 22nd race. A 3.1% increase thus represents around $4.3m, so the teams now know the final cap for this season is $145.5m.
