Watch: Toto Wolff flips off Max Verstappen fan after being mocked at Dutch GP
A Dutch Formula 1 fan and YouTuber spotted Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff, leaving the Zandvoort Circuit last weekend, and he ceased his opportunity.
Last season, Max Verstappen and Sir Lewis Hamilton fought hard for the world championship, winning 18 of the 22 races between them.
The battle became an intense one and, after a series of collisions and controversies, they arrived at the final round of the year in Abu Dhabi level on points.
It looked as though Hamilton was going to grab his ninth win of the season, and with it, his eighth world championship, as he entered the dying laps comfortably in the lead.

Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, said that his driver needed a “miracle” to win the crown while Verstappen was trying to hunt down Hamilton, and that is exactly what they got.
Nicholas Latifi’s crash brought out a late Safety Car, enabling Verstappen to pit for fresh Softs, as he had nothing to lose.
Initially, then race director, Michael Masi, had ruled that none of the lapped runners would be allowed to get their lap back, but he changed his mind ahead of the final tour.
The Australian allowed only five cars to unlap themselves – the five that were between the leaders.
Verstappen passed Hamilton on the very last lap of the race to earn his maiden world title in dramatic and polemic circumstances.
Wolff took to the radio during the final lap to exclaim, “no, Michael, no! This is so not right!”
Masi has since left the FIA having been removed from his role as race director, but the needle remains between the Mercedes and Red Bull camps.
Fans of the Austrian team and of Verstappen have had a lot to shout about this season, with Verstappen already on 10 wins in the 15 rounds of 2022, equalling his tally from last year.

The latest of them came last weekend in the Netherlands in front of his home support, while Hamilton ended the race fourth.
As Wolff was driven out of the circuit by another Mercedes team member, the YouTuber took the opportunity to shout, “no, Mikey, no Mikey!” to which the 50-year-old responded by raising his middle finger.
Verstappen now leads Charles Leclerc, who took third behind George Russell in Zandvoort, by 109 points in the Drivers’ Standings with seven rounds to go.
