Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson address Red Bull RB21

Red Bull Racing has unveiled their latest challenger, the RB21, with both Max Verstappen and his new teammate, Liam Lawson, taking it for initial runs during a filming day at Bahrain’s Sakhir circuit.

This event marked the car’s first on-track appearance ahead of the official pre-season testing.

Verstappen shared his initial thoughts, stating, “It’s good to be back on track… It is really nice to be back driving again and to get into RB21 for the first time.” He emphasized the day’s focus on acclimatizing to the new car and ensuring comfort, with a keen eye on assessing the car’s pace in the upcoming testing sessions.

Liam Lawson, stepping into a full-season role with Red Bull, expressed his excitement and optimism. He noted, “First impressions are good… For me, I have never started a full season in Formula 1, so the preparations and days like this filming day are good for me.”

Lawson’s comments reflect his eagerness to integrate into the team and contribute meaningfully in his debut season.

The RB21’s design and performance will be under scrutiny as Red Bull aims to reclaim the Constructors’ Championship.

The upcoming pre-season tests will provide more comprehensive insights into the car’s capabilities and its competitiveness against rivals.
