Oscar Piastri’s composed victories have vaulted him into the championship lead, prompting ex-Haas boss Guenther Steiner to advise his McLaren team-mate.

Steiner named Norris his “w*nker of the week,” adding: “Maybe there is an opportunity that makes him come back stronger.”

“If Max comes close, I think after the summer break, it will be, ‘Lando, get in line,’ ” he said.
