Goodyear confirmed as Exclusive Tyre Supplier to the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup

Sport news The company’s appointment for the next three seasons to 2022 was approved by an FIA World Motor Sport Council e-vote this week and follows a detailed tendering process.
Goodyear will supply its latest generation of Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport race tyre in a single compound for dry weather use, with a single compound for use in wet conditions also available
The company will provide a full service and technical support structure, while the existing tyre use restriction remains in place, namely 22 new dry-weather tyres for the first event a driver takes part in. From the second event, no more than 26 dry-weather tyres can be used of which only 18 can be new. No more than 16 wet-weather tyres can be used during an event.
