Isle Of Man TT Racer Daniel Ingham Confirmed Dead Following Qualifying Crash

Isle of Man TT racer Daniel Ingham, aged 33 and from Melton Mowbray, has passed away following an incident during qualifying at this year’s event.
Ingham was making his TT debut when he crashed at the Doran’s Bend section of the Mountain Course during Wednesday evening’s qualifying session.
The incident occurred on the first lap of the third qualifying session, and race organisers have since confirmed his death.
The Isle of Man TT takes place on the 37.730-mile Mountain Course, which hosts a number of different racing categories throughout the event.
This year’s event runs between May 25 and June 6, with Ingham having been qualifying on Wednesday ahead of the main races.
The Isle of Man TT issued an official statement confirming the tragedy and paying tribute to the well-regarded competitor.
The statement read: “The Isle of Man TT Races regrets to confirm that Daniel Ingham, 33, from Melton Mowbray, was killed in an incident during qualifying yesterday at the Isle of Man TT Races.”
Organisers also acknowledged his considerable experience and achievements within the road racing community over the past decade.
The statement continued: “Daniel made his Mountain Course debut in 2016 as a competitor in the Manx Grand Prix before graduating to the Isle of Man TT Races.”
Ingham had achieved a number of podium finishes during his career, most notably claiming first place in the 2024 Senior Manx Grand Prix.
The statement described him as “a popular and well-respected member of the road racing community” whose “passion for the sport was evident to all that knew him.”
The Isle of Man TT extended their sympathies directly to Ingham’s family, including his wife Helayna, son Joey, and daughter Phoebe.
