Dynisma Launches Third Simulator Product As F1 Partnership List Continues To Grow
Bristol-based Dynisma Motion Generators has become one of the most influential technology companies in motorsport, partnering with Ferrari, Alpine, Cadillac, and several other Formula 1 teams.
The 180-person firm was founded in 2017 and has grown rapidly from its campus just off the A370, collecting major industry awards along the way.
Dynisma won Technology Company of the Year at the 2025 British Business Awards and featured on The Sunday Times 100 Tech list the same year.
The company was built by Ash Warne, an aerospace engineering graduate who spotted a McLaren aero modelling job advert in an old copy of Autosport magazine in 2007.
Warne spent six years at McLaren in Woking before moving to Ferrari as an engineer for four years, giving him a deep understanding of exactly what professional motorsport teams need from a simulator.
“When I moved back to the UK, I had an opportunity to take a little bit of time and really think about what I wanted to do,” Warne said, explaining how he spent 18 months planning before developing the technology Dynisma still uses today.
Dynisma’s simulators are now used across Formula 2, Formula E, the World Endurance Championship, and IndyCar, making it a truly global force in motorsport simulation technology.
Teams face a choice between spending up to £10 million building their own in-house simulator or investing in a Dynisma platform that Warne says will “always be the most responsive, have the highest bandwidth and lowest latency.”
The company’s flagship product, the DMG-360XY, features latency of less than five milliseconds, over 100Hz of bandwidth, and five metres of XY travel, making it the choice of multiple Formula 1 operations.
Dynisma has now launched its third product, the DMG-S, priced within the upper six-figure range and designed to bring professional-grade simulation technology to a much broader audience.
The DMG-S fits within a 2.5m x 2.5m footprint, features latency of fewer than 5ms and motion bandwidth above 50Hz, and comes in two configurations covering GT, touring car, and single-seater applications.
Warne stated that the new product is specifically aimed at grassroots motorsport, saying: “We expect to be able to sell to people who are in karting.”
“Our vision is that everyone who comes into motorsport, if they get where they want to go in F1, they’re probably going to be using a simulator,” Warne added, outlining his ambition to offer a full developmental journey from karting upwards.
The simulator also targets customer racing teams seeking an accessible, compact solution without sacrificing the core technology that has made Dynisma a trusted name at the very top of the sport.
“DMG-S is the first time we’ve really focused, not only on how to bring the cost down, but how to make the manufacturing that much faster,” Warne concluded, with global exports expected to follow rapidly.
With Warne confirming a “very busy couple years ahead,” Dynisma shows no signs of relinquishing its position at the forefront of motorsport simulation worldwide.
